Terms And Conditions

Information

  • Please be aware that by making an appointment you acknowledge and agree and abide by all these terms and conditions.
  • Please make us aware if you have any medical conditions, take any medications or have any allergies as this might contradict with your treatment. If you fail to make us aware of these we won’t be able to go forward with the treatment and booking fee will be lost.
  • All patients are required to provide contact details; including address, telephone and email in order to secure an appointment.
  • All clients will complete a Medical history form at their appointment, this is necessary to inform the consultation and treatment planning process. All clients are required to fill and sign consent forms.
  • All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation
  • Patient information will not be shared with third parties without written permissions and you will not receive unsolicited information from us.
  • You may choose to remove yourself from our mailing list at any time, by unsubscribing.
  • You must be 18 years or over to receive treatments. We reserve the right to refuse performing treatments on any guest who is under the age of consent.

Appointments

  • We will refuse treatment to customers who behave in an ill-mannered, aggressive, or hostile way towards any member of staff. We will not treat customers under influence of drugs and / or alcohol.
  • Please provide 3 working days notice as soon possible, if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, so that we may make best use of our appointment diary.
  • All clients are required to pay booking fee prior their appointment. No appointment will be registered until booking fee is paid. Booking Fee is non-refundable. There’s standard 50% of treatment price booking fee but this may vary (especially packages, Profhilo and customised treatments)
  • When diaries are particularly busy, we may take a full payment upfront.
  • Claudette Clinic operates a 3 working day cancellation policy. If you do not attend a booked appointment, and fail to advise us in advance, a non-refundable booking fee will be charged to make another appointment!!! If we hold a deposit on account this will be forfeited.
  • If you are undergoing a course of treatment as part of a package, and fail to attend or do not provide 3 working days’ notice of cancellation or change, the treatment will be forfeited.
  • Please do NOT attend the clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If you are unsure, please call and discuss.
  • Consultations are Free but we take £15 booking fee. If client and practitioner deem suitable your fee will be deducted from full price. If you decide not to go ahead with your treatment £15 is to cover my time.

Data Security

Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion like to send you details of special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know.

Flash Deals

Flash deals are treatments available for a reduced price. These deals are usually valid for 24hrs. Usually less than 5 spaces per deal are available. Booking fee have to be paid to secure appointment. Once booking fee is paid, theres period of 30 days to make an appointment . If appointment is not made within 30days booking fee is forfeited and deal lost. Flash Deal cannot be swapped for any other / existing appointments. No paid booking fee can be swapped for flash deals. Flash deals are made as new appointments ONLY.

Giveaways

Giveaway means entering a contest to win free or reduced price prizes.

Entrants must be 18+ years old!

Prizes cannot be swapped for cash / another prize/ treatment / voucher etc. Prizes cannot be passed to other people or winners. If a winner won a prize similar to booked appointment this cannot be swapped for a booked appointment. Winner have 7 days to claim their prize and book in. Only 1 appointment will be offered. No cancellations and rescheduling will be accepted. If a winner cancel their appointment prize will be lost and no other appointments will be made. Please keep in mind this is a free service and we could book a paying client instead of losing time.

Winner shall have no medical contradictions to claim the prize. If there is any medical condition/ medications contradicting with the treatment we have the right to refuse to carry on with any treatments.

Winners shall be selected randomly.

Winners shall agree to photos and videos of before and after to be posted on social media .

Models & Promotions

Models for social media content and discounted appointments to be paid in full at the day of making a booking. Models are agreeing to being photographed and videotaped for content to be used across social media platforms such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, The X, Nextdoor, Linkedin, etc

Before and after comparison photos and / or videos will be used to determine the outcome.

Images & Videos

We like to take photos and videos of our treatments to show you and other clients before and after results. If you would prefer your images not to be shared on social media please inform and we will ensure they are kept private.
We will never share your name or personal details alongside any of the images and videos used.  

No-Shows

A “no-show” is where a client does not turn up for a pre-booked appointment and does not contact the salon to cancel in advance. In the event of a no-show we will contact the client to arrange payment for the loss of income incurred as the appointment could have been booked by another client.

Clients with previous no-shows will usually be required to make full pre-payment for future appointments. This to be at the discretion of Claudette Clinic. If a client is registered with our Reward scheme, we reserve the right to forfeit any reward(s) and/or points against the value of your appointment.

Failure to pay the costs of missed appointment(s) or regular missed appointments may result in future bookings being declined/cancelled. This to be at the discretion of Claudette Clinic.

Medical Conditions

Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments
may not be appropriate for you. Certain medications may also prevent you from being suitable to certain
treatments. A client consultation will be carried out on your first visit to ensure your safety. Clients must inform
the salon if anything changes to their personal information or medical history.

Cancellations

Please note that our booking system will require you to pay full price to cancel your appointment. Failure to pay the costs of missed / cancelled appointment(s) or regular cancelled appointments may result in future bookings being declined/cancelled. This to be at the discretion of Claudette Clinic.

Patch Testing

Patch testing may be required for several treatments including IPL, tinting, lash lifts, brow lamination and eyelash extensions. On other occasions we may suggest a patch test to ensure the safety of the client. Patch test is required to be performed at least 48 hours before treatment. Unfortunately, client will be turned away if refused patch testing. If client fail to do patch test 48 hours before booked appointment, their treatment will be cancelled and booking fee will be lost.

Cleanliness

In keeping with our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is cleaned and sanitised and disinfected or sterilised after every service and treatment.


Complaints

We aim to ensure that every client is delighted with the services that they receive at DermaUnique Clinic. However, we recognise that on occasions things can go wrong. If this does happen we will try to put things right at the earliest opportunity.

This procedure advises how to bring matters to our attention if you are not happy with the service you have received.

We will ensure that all complaints are documented, followed up and where appropriate, action is taken to prevent future occurrences.

The quickest and most effective way of resolving any problem is to bring it to our attention immediately by raising your concern with the therapist. They will listen carefully to your concerns and do what they can to correct any problems.

Complaints need to be documented in writing via email. Please provide as much detail as possible, including details of your treatment, date and time of your appointment and your exact concerns.

Your complaint will be assessed by the management team. We aim to get back to you within 2 salon working days of receiving your complaint in writing.

Children

We do not treat children or young adults under the age of 18.

Please do not bring children to the clinic unless they are old enough to be left unsupervised. As every Aesthetic Clinic we use needles and other sharps, this is not a safe environment for young children.

Children will not be allowed to accompany you into the treatment rooms.

Payment

You will be advised of the full costs of any treatment plan proposed and agreed, including that of any maintenance treatment, before any treatment is undertaken.

Refunds

Fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of a treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of;

  • consultation and assessment
  • provision of information and advice
  • products used
  • safe treatment with genuine products
  • follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support as appropriate

Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service; factual, honest and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands and only the best products, we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations.

All packages are to be paid in full before treatment commences.

All packages and treatments are non-refundable and non-transferable!!!

We have the right to refuse to go ahead with any treatment for any reason e.g medical / aesthetical.

Late Arrivals

If you are running late for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals within 15 minutes of your appointment time by performing the most complete treatment possible in the time remaining at the full price. In the case of some treatments however late arrival may mean that we unable to honour your booking.

Unfortunately, arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment will result in your treatment being cancelled and full charges being made.  No more appointment will be booked until paid.

We recommend that you plan ahead for your visit to Claudette Clinic and are happy to answer questions about how to get to us. There is ample, off street parking nearby the salon or Kinnoull Street Car Park which is located 2-minutes walk from the salon.

Therapist Illness

Unfortunately, there may be times when we have to cancel your appointment due to therapist/staff illness or other emergency. If we are unable to reschedule your appointment at another time or with an alternative therapist on the same day we will need to cancel your appointment and rebook you for the next available appointment. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel your appointment.

Prepaid Courses of Treatments

Example: 3 courses of LumiEyes, 2 courses of Profhilo , 2 courses of Lemon Bottle etc

All courses have to be paid in full and have a validity of 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Due to courses being an upfront discounted rate they are non-refundable.

Our Loyalty Reward System

We run a loyalty point system through our client file on our salon system. Loyalty points cannot be redeemed
for cash, sold or transferred. Your loyalty point must not be transferred to a third party. Points can only be
redeemed on certain treatments. Your loyalty points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or
discount. All client loyalty points remain the property of CLAUDETTE CLINIC and reserves the
right to without notice: a) terminate the scheme b) decline to issue Loyalty cards c) withdraw or cancel the loyalty
card or alter or amend the terms & conditions of the CLAUDETTE CLINIC loyalty scheme.

Gift Vouchers

Please look after this valuable gift and treat it just like cash.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted
after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for services only. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or
transferred. Your gift voucher name must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the
therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during
one session. Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.
In the event that a voucher cannot be used within the valid period, the salon might extend the voucher for 3 months but it can only be used in off peak times. This needs to be arranged by prior agreement with
management.

Price Alteration

We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.

Smoking and vaping

Please note that it is illegal to smoke or vape anywhere in the Salon.

Mobile Phones

In the interest of comfort of all our clients trying to relax, please refrain from talking on a mobile
phone and ensure it is switched off, or on silent, for the full duration of your time at the salon.

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held
responsible for lost items.
